The warranty and quality control with Herbst Homes is also fantastic. Sean, with quality control and warranty, provided a thorough walk through and orientation the week of closing. He insisted that we called him or the owners if we had any issues. Two weeks after moving in we ran into a water drainage issue from our master tub. We called Sean after 9pm at night. He and his team were there as soon as they could. Herbst Homes hired ServPro to ensure that there was no long term water damage. They replaced all the damaged flooring and floorboards, all at no cost to us. The warranty on these new homes guarantees that we are covered as new homeowners. “I have been in my new Herbst home for two weeks now, and I could not be more pleased. The Herbst home gives you the most for your money. The fine craftsmanship and unique vision given to every detail is what you might expect in a luxury home, but Herbst gives it to you in an affordable home. They provided all the materials (warranties, etc.) in a nice portfolio including a laminated sheet with paint colors, as well as the paint for future touch ups and a list of the utility companies with phone numbers, etc. I must also say a nice word about their realtor, Nancy Brown. She’s amazing! She was not my realtor, yet she made me feel as if she was. After moving in, I had trouble with the remote on the garage door. I contacted her and she immediately sent someone to come and check it, and of course it was me just not doing something right, but he took care of it with a smile. “This company really built an amazing corner lot home for my family and I. We wanted a dream home and Herbst Homes really went above and beyond. They built us a 4/2 1900 sq/ft home with an amazing finished garage. The 0.38 acre lot they built it on looked amazing by the time they completed the home, the yard was nice and flat, they installed an irrigation pump hooked up to a well for the sprinkler system. The inside of the home looked amazing, all the countertops were granite with nice white bright, soft close cabinets. I couldn't be more pleased with my new home. Oh and they finished the home almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule!”

“The Herbst team stands by their product. The initial home buying experience was good, but where they really set themselves apart is the warranty service after the sale. We had a fluke plumbing issue due to a poorly manufactured part (not Herbst’s fault) cause about $50k in damage to our home which we discovered on a Sunday evening. They had a whole team there within an hour of our call and they worked through the night to prevent further damage.
Not only did they take care of all the repairs without even mentioning money, they also put us up in the hotel of our choice for a month while they replaced most of our downstairs. They perfectly balanced speed with thoroughness; making sure the job was done right, but also prioritizing getting our family back in our home.
In the months since we’ve moved back into our home we have been very pleased with it. Sean and the warranty team have continued to be very responsive and helpful with minor questions and concerns which are largely the result of us being first time homeowners. They even delivered hardware for storm shutters in the flooding and rain the day before hurricane Sally hit.”
