Do you have a BOYL (Build on Your Own Lot) program?
At this time we do not offer a "build on your own lot" program. Our focus is on crafting exceptional homes within our carefully selected and designed communities. This allows us to maintain the highest level of quality, craftsmanship, and seamless project management, ensuring that every home meets the rigorous standards that everyone has come to expect from us.

Can I customize my home design?
We don't offer customizations to any of our plans. However, our expertly designed floor plans are created to meet a wide range of needs and lifestyles. By focusing on pre-designed options, we ensure exceptional quality, streamlined timelines, and a more cost-effective process for our homeowners.
We do allow our buyers to make color selections to the countertops, flooring, and cabinets, as long as the home isn't too far along in the build process.
How do I submit a warranty request?
Our warranty program is a reflection of our commitment to you and the craftsmanship of your new home. We understand that even with the best construction practices, unexpected issues can occur. That’s why we have developed a warranty process that deals with any problems head-on, providing you with clear communication, prompt action, and a resolution you can trust.
Every Herbst Homes buyer is assigned a Warranty Support Specialist, along with a portal to submit any claims they may encounter during their warranty period. Through our Warranty Portal, we are able to ensure that every service request or claim remains open until you are fully satisfied with the resolution. We don’t just fix issues—we follow through to make sure the work meets your expectations. Your peace of mind is our priority, and we’re committed to delivering a quality experience from start to finish.
In addition to this, we also schedule an in person 1 month, 4 month, 8 month, and 12 month warranty check-in appointment with all our homeowners to make sure that their new home is meeting their expectations.

Does my Realtor need to be with me when I visit the model home?
We highly recommend having your Realtor present when you visit one of our model homes. This allows us to register them as your agent and address any questions they might have while touring the property with you.
If your Realtor is unable to attend, they will need to register with us as your agent before your visit. This ensures a smooth and seamless process as you take the next steps toward your new Herbst Home!
Can I hire a home inspector to inspect my home once its completed?
Absolutely! Prior to closing, our team will reach out to see if you’d like to schedule a home inspection.
Once you’ve selected the home inspector of your choice, we’ll handle the rest, ensuring the process is seamless and stress-free. At Herbst Homes, we’re here to support you every step of the way!
